Marketing: Retail and Management

Program Description - Two-Year Program
The Marketing Program prepares students for careers in sales, marketing, advertising and management. Course topics include business math, advertising, store layout and design, leadership, problem solving, inventory, site selection, human resource management and customer service. The first year marketing students will focus on retail sales and marketing techniques using current business vocabulary, promotion and display, cashiering and procedures of assistant managers. The second year students will develop business plans while learning the procedures involved in ownership of a small business. Topics will include: store layout, location analysis, customer service, survey design, promotion, international business, E-Commerce and management.
