Credit Recovery
Helping students get the right classes and the right credits for graduation takes up a huge part of a counselor's day. The Tech Center's new Academic Credit Recovery Program can make this a little easier:
  • Provides credit recovery in English, Math and Science
  • Meets new requirement for an online course
  • Offers both in person and online mentoring
  • No additional cost
  • Easy, one-click enrollment (a new option on current system)
This pilot program is open to all students enrolled at the Tech Center during First Session (6:55-9:25AM). Students will complete some of the online course at The Tech Center and the rest after school. For more information email Principal Ron Moag.

KCTC will then complete the enrollment to Michigan Virtual HS.

What is the time commitment for Credit Recovery?
Students will be expected to utilize and extra 30-minutes in 1st session daily, and students need to know they will need approximately an additional hour daily outside of the normal school day to access MVU in order to accomplish the course requirements.

Students will need internet access, preferably high-speed access, log-in and passwords, and course materials. Course materials will be provided by KCTC through Michigan Virtual HS.
