As soon as you open the doors to Kent Career Technical Center, you know you're in a very different learning environment–dynamic, high energy and totally hands-on. Students are actively engaged in "doing". From Computerized Banking, Precision Machining Technology, Health Careers, Cosmetology and Information Technology to Pre-Engineering/CAD, Applied Construction and Aviation you'll see high school students involved in real work, using real world technology.

You'll find our students learning and earning their way into the high-skill, high-pay careers of the future. Through a combination of classroom and lab learning, on-site work experiences and internships with local companies, students learn the skills of successful employees.
